Department of Environment & Natural Resources. Administrative Order No.200-81 - Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999 - Ambient Air Quality Standard, means the concentration of an air pollutant which, in order to protect public health and/ or public welfare, shall not be exceeded in the breathing zone at any time, Standards are enforceable and must be complied by the owner or person-in-charge of an individual, operation, process or trade.
Ambient Air Quality refers to the Atmosphere's average purity in a broad area as distinguished from discharge measurements taken at the source of pollution or the present characteristic or nature of the surrounding atmosphere;
